the language of LOVE

when everyday words are not enough,
sometimes i wonder how to be instantly understood by those you love.
maybe it doesn't matter to you as much as it matters to me.
but i wish they could at least see what i mean.
sometimes i even wonder whether there is such a thing called the language of love.
words have incredible power
especially when they say what you mean (and mean what you say).
but that same power can be self-defeating, even destructive,
when the message heard doesn't match the message intended..

so do i have to make the most of my communication by master-ing

this morning mama spoke to me about my late atuk (my grandfather/her father). about how she had treated him when he was still alive 3 years ago. althou she didn't exactly voiced her guilt. somehow, i sensed it. i could tell that it was much more than just a story. how could sharing a single story bring so much change to someone's life? i didn't understand how or why a word picture worked with me. but i guess she was just thankful it did. it was an emotional picture that finally penetrated my brick-walled heart and pried open my life to much-needed change.

after prayers, i'll be heading off to work. i'm tutoring. can't wait.
till then, i'll be worrying the day off for i've not packed my bag for camp.

our lovestory

It has been an interesting and fruitful day for me. And i mean it. Almost 24 hours of unexpected joyful moments. From home to school and to the cinema! I have experienced a day like no other by starting the day in an AMAZINGLY EXOTIC way. well, will come back to that later (;

Mass GL cheer was oh so fine. It was a stationary tool for me to vent my anger on. And i have made a vow not to be afraid anymore.
Let him speak for which he love. Let him state the false. For what may be, i'm unaffected. Thus, he is belittling noone. He failed.

besides that, it was great going crazy once in a while again with my peeps during this dull holiday.

That's about it for the afternoon. AND ta da~ a few photos for the day! Went to school with dear Amanda. Had an awesome time chatting with her after sooooooo long. From camps til about Bintan. haha. And left school with yanlingg and liping! and some guy with pink extension from empire Nexo helped us with the photos. thank the man with the pink extension! Adore the smiles. CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC was extremely worth watching. HILARIOUS, ENTERTAINING and EYE-CATCHING. allow me to emphasize that this is an opinion from a shopaholic - myself! so, do not be surprise. I seriously recommend soul sisters who are naturally shopaholics as well to watch this movie! It might change your perspective about shopping. worth watching Isla Fisher in action as a bimbo. not forgetting, the PINK OUTFITS and ACCESSORIES she has!! she is AWESOME. althou, my love didn't quite get the storyline and he thinks that it was pointless. i enjoyed watching it with him anyway! And dear blog, meet my love.

Besides enjoying this hectic hols, i've been considering about running as a main comm member in Business Ambassador ever since Louis - current President of BA talked to me about it. It'll be cool. Still in the process of thinking about it tho while in the midst of busy-NESS of camps.. Speaking of that, 2 DAYS TO FO, people!

For now, may life blossom like those lovely flowers i saw on the way back home this evening and may the blossom-NESS last till the earth isn't round anymore ..

THE GUTS

I'm back from Religious Class. I was as if so in my own world this morning. As usually, can't stand the environment of the class and the repetitive, constant and monotonous reminders from my Ustazah. Still, she's one of the best Ustazahs i've ever had and i actually understood what she was teaching and i could at least relate to the topic. Today was 50% Arabic in class which was actually a BUMMER for me but the drawing-out-instead-of-spelling test was kinda brilliant!

Holiday has been a WILD VACATION although i'm not enjoying mine overseas like quite a number of my fellow peeps. For those who are, been missing them truckloads. Instead, my holiday has been revolving around CAMPS, camps and more camps. Speaking of that, i just came back from SL CAMP! It was a total excitement and FUN. And out of the blue, i wasn't what i used to be lately. In fact, i've got the guts to open up and be MYSELF. KRAGA was unbelivably and an unbeatable SECT alright. Although there's once upon a time or two, i felt slightly reluctant being there, we pull it through and made it to be th best SECT that we can be. I love the cheers, spirit and not forgetting, the hyperNESS. Oh well, now three more camps to go for the HOLIDAY! hahaaaa. Sue is going crazy alright. But it's actually a fun activity to be proud of as it gives you a chance to be yourself and stand up for what you believe in. Making new friends and just ENJOY. Better than rotting your holidays away.

FOC - 3 days from now. HOLQA will always be remembered.. well, at least by me. All the cheers, bonding sessions and the effortless feel of belongingness during camps will sooner or later reach the end but memories will still be and will be cherished. Looking forward to FO tho. and hope HOLQA is ready to face the freshies by then.

TOMORROW. yipee. Day out with my love. Dragging him to the cinemas. Till then, here I go again !
