Before I update on my day, I'd like to express my MISSES for my buddies from school and school itself. i've not been seeing them around throughout this holiday. An utter disappointment indeed. But even so, memories are still close to my heart. And when the hell are we going to get our timetable? I hope i get Theatres as a CDS this coming semester. Like what i told Nena, that's what i want to do in life. Perhaps not entirely Theatres as a career. Like Mama said, it's risky. But all in all, passion matters too (;

It was a wonderful morning at religious class because together as a team we had to face a challenge. hahaa. Despite the disruptions in class, I'm sure it is an awesome morning for some of us too. Surya, Hafizah and I were trying to drag the time til Ustazah could at least spend only a few minutes on Arabic. And we S-U-C-C-E-E-D. Zayanah was merely laughing her lungs out when we were cheering silently as time passes during Akhlak(moral). and I asked a brilliant question concerning an information i came across last night while doing my religious class homework. It is interesting and we've learnt a lot from it. Reaching the end of this post, read on as you may benefit from it (:
Well, at least i think i did. i'll update you with the data later. Surya then built on it and begged Ustazah to continue sharing and explaining the information with the class. Great work there, mate! And there goes, after all our hard work poured, we managed to steal ONLY 5-10 minutes of Arab. But we were surprised when she cut short the lesson to touch more on the question that i've just asked. YOU'RE WELCOME, GIRLS(:

But you see, what we've done is an act of seeking knowledge that we are interested to know. Only 20% of our niat(intention) wants time to pass on and avoid Arabic lesson. 70% to learn more about the topic i've presented due to curiosity. and 10%? Mere fun. hahaa. With that, this is the information shared by our Ustazah and partly what i've done research on. May this help Muslims out there to understand more about Islam and put this to good use and may I also, take this opportunity to gain blessings from Allah. Hopefully the right message is conveyed. Think about it..

Do you know?

Women have 9 nafsu (desires) and 1 akal (plan, way, means) and Men have 1 nafsu (desire) and 9 akal (plans, ways, means).

I am not very sure whether it is a fact. But Ustazah seems positive about it. She was actually explaining the fact that theoritically, it is true. We, women have many desires and calculatively, there's 9 of them. One i would know of and understand the most would be, shopping. hahaa. Am i right? and perhaps, being emotional easily as well; the desire to vent anger is another desire. I am still surfing the internet and found myself reading an opinon from an Ustaz that there's a logical reason behind why in Islam, men are given the power to determine divorce between spouses but not women. One of the reasons would be, women being more emotional compared to men. As a law student, it would be easier for me to relate to the Muslim Law (:

Under the Muslim law, talak means "to untie the matrimonial knot by articulating a word denoting divorce."

If a husband utters the word on his wife, the two of them would automatically be divorced and the wife would be in a state of iddah. If, during iddah, the parties wish to reconcile, the divorce may be revoked without having to go through the process of nikah (marriage).
Allah says: "Take them back on equitable terms or part with them on equitable terms." Quran - 65 : 2.

I'm using Ustazah's method whenever you bring across an information or explanation to someone, support it with a dalil (evidence). Wow. Ustazah must be so proud of me. hahaa. Alhamdulillah. Till then, i'll be heading off now to have lunch with my love.

p.s. i love my new handphone!!!
